24SevenOffice is a Norway IT-company developing a Enterprise resource planning/Customer Relationship Management web application. The head-office is located in Skien with additional offices in Oslo, London, and Stockholm. As of August 2005 the company has between 900-1000 customers.

The company was founded in 1996 in Porsgrunn (Norway) by Stian Rustad. The name was initially Kontorplassen.no (Norwegian word for The Office ) but was later changed to 24SevenOffice.
In May 2003 the company opened an office in England.
In was opened for outsourcing accounting services.
In August 2005 the company attracted a $15 Million Norwegian krone investment by private investors. The stock was listed on the Norwegian OTC-market on October 5th 2005. The ticker symbol is 24S0 and on October 7th 2005 the stock was traded at 11NOK which values the company to roughly 10 million USD.

24SevenOffice has won several awards including Seal of Excellence at CeBIT, European IST Prize and Product of the year 2005 by Kapital, the most popular financial magazine in Norway.

24SevenOffice is an ERP/CRM web application for small businesses and Small and Medium-sized Enterprise s. It includes modules for Customer Relationship Management, accounting, invoice, E-mail, Document management system and Project_management_software.
The application uses HTML, JavaScript, Cascading Style Sheets, XML and XMLHTTPRequest. The Ajax (programming) technique (Asynchronous JavaScript and XML) is used extensively to gain speed in the user interface. 24SevenOffice is a Rich Internet Application (RIA) and considered to be part of Web 2.0.
Different product packages are offered to cater for businesses of various sizes and needs. 24SevenOffice Start is for smaller businesses who only require an invoice system and customer database, while 24SevenOffice Premium includes all modules with accounting and analytical CRM system.

24SevenOffice is sold on a pay as you go basis. Customers pay a monthly fee based on which modules they use and the number of users.
= External developers =
External developers can use Representational_State_Transfer to integrate third-party applications with 24SevenOffice. The report generator is based on XML and XSLT which allows developers to build custom reports and pull data from the system.
= Competitors =
One direct competitor to 24SevenOffice is NetSuite_Inc. who provides a similar web-based suite of business applications. Other web-based competitors include Salesforce.com, SugarCRM and Intuit, Inc.#QuickBooks_Online_Edition. Traditional software competitors include SAP Business One and Siebel.
= Criticism =
Some have criticised 24SevenOffice for supporting only the Microsoft Internet_explorer Web_browser.
