Alexandria is a GNOME application that keeps a Database of books. Users can search by title, author, keywords, or ISBN number, or with a barcode reader, like a CueCat. The application can connect to book retailers such as Amazon.com or national libraries such as the Library_of_congress to download information on the book such as title, author(s), ISBN, edition information as well as images of the book s cover. Alexandria also allows you to categorize the books into multiple virtual libraries and search the database once the item you are searching for has been added.
