American Megatrends Incorporated (AMI) is a Georgia (U.S. state) based computer hardware company that creates IBM PC compatible hardware and firmware. It was founded in 1985 by the current chairman and president, Subramonian Shankar.

American Megatrends was a pioneer in Storage products such as Redundant array of independent disks controllers. Between the years 1995 and 2000, AMI RAID grew to become the #1 RAID card in the world. The AMI RAID division was acquired in 2001 by LSI Logic.
