Apricote Studios

Apricote Studios was founded by Quentin Pain in 1985 to develop accounting software for the Acorn Computers PLC platform. By the demise of Acorn, it became the market leader of both home and business accounting software.

Quentin Pain then went on to found Accountz.com Ltd who developed Personal Accounts and Accounts for Business. The latter is the first example of a multi-platform, multi-language, multi-user business management software suite.
