Ate my balls

Ate my balls was a relatively early example of an Internet meme. In the late 1990s, many web pages were created to depict a particular celebrity or fictional character saying how they liked to eat balls. Often, the site would consist of a story or comic featuring edited photos centered around the idea of someone s testicles being eaten by the titular individual. The edited photos would often look intentionally fake, to emphasise the humorous and nonsensical atmosphere. Usually the editing would go no further than a speech bubble or two added to each photo, and very often the actual balls in question were never seen, adding to the confusion of people who may have just stumbled across the page.

The Mr. T Ate My Balls web page was the original Ate my balls site. It started in 1996 and became a very popular Internet phenomenon. It has now all but fallen out of popular Internet culture.
