Blackbaud Inc. is a supplier of Software specifically designed for charity, schools, universities, and other not-for-profit organizations. Its products focus on fundraising, financial management, ticket sales, and education administration.

Some of the software solutions it offers are The Raiser s Edge (RE), The Financial Edge (FE), and The Information Edge (TIE). It also holds part ownership of another piece of software, The Patron Edge.

The company was founded in 1981, and now employs over 900 people. Its headquarters are in Charleston, South Carolina, with offices in Toronto, Glasgow and Sydney. In As of 2004, Blackbaud had a turnover of $138 million. On July 22 2004, the company announced an Initial Public Offering and is now quoted on the NASDAQ under the stock ticker BLKB.
