Colloquy is an Internet Relay Chat and SILC (protocol) client for Mac OS X. It uses Irssi as its IRC protocol engine, and supports customizable message views using XSL Transformations and Apple Computer s WebKit renderer, which is based on KHTML.

The software supports Plugins enabling integration with the OS X environment, and provides a user interface consistent with other Macintosh applications in addition to traditional IRC command-line controls.
