Control panel

A control panel is a flat, typically vertical, area where control or monitoring instruments are displayed. They are typically found in complex pieces of Engineering, such as nuclear power plants, ships, aircraft, etc.

Also, in Microsoft Windows operating systems, the Control Panel (Windows) is where various computer settings can be modified.

The term is also widely used to define browser-based web hosting Control Panel (Web Hosting) used to manage servers, web services and users.
