Cordys was launched by Jan Baan, founder of Enterprise resource planning vendor Baan Company, in September 2004.
Cordys combines an enterprise service bus with a service-oriented architecture, web services, and XML. The company focuses on providing enterprise application integration (EAI), Business Process Management (BPM) and insight in business processes and activities through a portal.
Its headquarters are in Putten, Netherlands and has offices throughout Europe, the United States, India and China.
