DG/UX

DG/UX was a Unix variant developed by Data General that was notable for its rare updates. Hardware stability was ensured by its equally stable Data General Eclipse MV and later Data General AViiON architectures.

On the AViiON, DG/UX supported multi-processor machines at a time when most variants of Unix did not. Later versions added support for processor affinity to support their high-end Non-Uniform Memory Access-based machines.
