Digital Eel is an List of indie game developers video game developer team located in the Seattle, Washington area. The group was formed in 2001 by video game industry professionals, Rich Carlson, Iikka Keranen and Bill Sears, as a self-described labor of love between three friends who like to make games together.

=Design philosophy=

The Digital Eel philosophy, as stated in the same takes itself too seriously, therefore game names should be as silly as possible.

In reality, Digital Eel s philosophy is clearly centered on the belief that game design is an art form, and that commercial concerns should be secondary to ones of creative freedom and experimentation.
