F-Spot is a photograph management application, similar to Google Inc. s Windows freeware Picasa 2. F-Spot is an application designed to provide personal photo management to the GNOME desktop. Features include import, export, printing and advanced sorting of digital images by using tags. F-Spot can also upload images to your Flickr account, if you have one. Basic editing of pictures, like red-eye correction and adjusting the hue of images is also supported. F-Spot is still in the early phases of development. F-Spot is available as Open Source sofware and contributions are encouraged. F-Spot is written in C_Sharp_programming_language using Mono development platform and Gtk#. The source code is available from the GNOME Concurrent Versions System repository in the module f-spot. Currently the closest thing to a roadmap the project has is the TODO file in CVS.
