From Software

From Software is a Japanese software company founded in November of 1986 that develops games for Sony s PlayStation, PlayStation 2, PlayStation Portable, Nintendo s DS, GameCube, Microsoft s Windows Personalcomputer s, Xbox and upcoming Xbox 360, and Sega s Dreamcast.

They are well known for the Otogi and Tenchu series and have strong ties to Sega, who distribute many of their titles overseas. Their signature series has been Armored Core , which has spanned over 13 different games across multiple platforms since 1996.
