The General Algebraic Modeling System (GAMS) is a high-level modeling system for mathematical programming problems. The program itself consists of a language Compiler and a group of integrated solver. Thus, GAMS is not a solver itself.

GAMS is designed for ease of use. It is produced by GAMS Development Corporation.
