Gentoo/OpenBSD

Gentoo/OpenBSD is a Unix-like operating system created by Gentoo Linux developer Grant Goodyear in order to bring Gentoo design principles such as Portage (software) to the OpenBSD operating system. Gentoo/OpenBSD is part of the larger Gentoo/*BSD project.

Gentoo/OpenBSD is still in development and no official stable release has been made yet, but a CD image of the operating system s installation program based on OpenBSD 3.4 exists. Currently, Gentoo/OpenBSD is based off of OpenBSD 3.5. Portage is functional but few packages have been ported to the operating system.
