GnuCash is a Free Software, double-entry book-keeping based, personal finance system, initially aimed at developing capabilities similar to Intuit, Inc. Quicken application. Current development is more closely aligned to developing features for small business.

GnuCash is part of the GNOME desktop environment, and runs on GNU/Linux, FreeBSD, Solaris Operating Environment, Mac OS X and other Unix-like platforms.
