GoshMe - The web search assistant is an Alternative Search Engine, focused mainly in Specialty Search Engines and also in deep web search engines.

Search engines are among the most useful resources on the World Wide Web. Each search engine has its particularities: Exclusive content, way of measuring relevancies and classifying results, using interface, and in many cases specialization in a particular area of interest.

Nowadays, the internet offers a great variety of Specialty Search Engines, but this number is so gigantic that users feel sort of lost in front of so many possibilities. Sometimes, the problem of finding information on the Internet is replaced by the problem of knowing where search engines are, what they are designed to retrieve, and how to use them. GoshMes purpose is to assists users in that. Notice that GoshMe is not a conventional search engine and neither a metasearch engine. It doesnt provide users with links found inside other search engines, like meta-search engines do. What it does is finding the potential Search Engines for every users query, giving him/her the background he/she needs, facilitating the decision making. Once he/she has chosen a search engine he/she will be redirected to the search engines page of results, on which he/she will find the results hyperlinks.
