Greenware

Greenware is a software license which provides an end user with the right to use a particular program as he sees fit (or obtain the source code) if he makes an effort to help out the environmentalism. The license suggests the following:

use only recycled computer paper

recycle the computer paper after you use it

use public transport

replace your 8 cylinder automobile with a 4 cylinder car or even a motorbike

support Greenpeace

stop Tobacco smoking

ride a bike to work or school

avoid buying products that are harmful to the environment

stop using weed killers on your lawn

support Friends of the Earth

recycle your cans

avoid buying products that have lots of extra packaging

use a fax modem instead of a paper fax machine

reuse your plastic bags
