I would like to compliment you on your well written entry on the avant-garde manga anthology 07:24, 16 Feb 2005 (UTC)
:Thank you! Actually, most of the important manga anthologies don t have articles yet. I think most editors tend to focus on their favorite artist/series and ignore other aspects of the art and industry. Still, I don t think Wikipedia s handling of manga is that badI wouldn t have known anything about 19:00, 16 Feb 2005 (UTC)

= Category: Professional wrestlers =
Hi, I had just finished working on the Professional wrestling slang category when I noticed you were moving wrestlers from Professional wrestling to Professional wrestlers . Quite a bit of editing work. I had been planning on doing the exact same thing, so since you started from the As and worked down, I started from the Zs and worked up. I stopped after doing the Ms. Thanks, 19:04, 5 Aug 2004 (UTC)
:Thanks. I noticed that some of the articles I was opening seemed to already have Category:Professional wrestlers set; at first I thought I d done them already and forgotten! Thanks for doing a lot of the work. 19:17, 5 Aug 2004 (UTC)
Ah, I had just moved Blade (professional wrestling) to 07:27, 12 Aug 2004 (UTC)

= European Union Olympic medals count for 2004 =
Hi there,
I wonder would you consider reversing your decision to delete European Union Olympic medals count for 2004. I have substantially rewritten it. A united EU team is not going to happen. I ve discussed potential EU co-operation towards the olympics, and kept the table. I believe the table is valid, for us Europeans/EUians to see how the area has fared as a whole. Please comment on my talk page if you still feel the article should be deleted.

Thanks for the message. Yes, disallowing external links on List of web comics would make a lot of sense: there should be a link in the appropriate article, which would be an incentive to create such an article

= Definition of aspects =
In computer science, an aspect is a part of a program that cross-cuts its core concerns, therefore violating its separation of concerns. In other words, it is needed to complete the program, but is not necessarily specific to the domain the program is written for.

=Jerry Remigius Kanagarajah=
You voted and made a statment Delete, DID YOU DO ANY RESEARCH YOU JUST STATED Delete wtih the factual basis THIS IS NOT FAIR WERE WAS YOUR RESEARCH you did not state any How can you make a decision without looking at the facts, if you did not take your time to look then you have No RIGHT TO VOTE ! If you look at the facts, Prince Jerry Remigius Kanagarajah is legitimate The Official site is http://www.jaffnaroyalfamily.org also he is recongnized by The Southeast Asia Imperial & Royal League
Notable Members of the The Southeast Asia Imperial & Royal League
I am sorry that you are not aware of Southeast Asian Royalty but who is to blame That is what this site is about education and spreading knowlegde to the world. If the Southeast Asia Imperial & Royal League have done their research and their council has admitted him as a legitimate then there was a adequate background check on his lineage. I only ask for fairness. Please re-evaluate your vote. 23:31, Sep 12, 2004 (UTC)
:Take a deep breath and calm down. Has he done anything besides be descended from people who once held power [http://www.jaffnaroyalfamily.org/index2.htm This site] makes it pretty clear that Sri Lankan royalty is not actually part of government, and the Wikipedia article on Sri Lanka bears out this lack of official status. The aforementioned site also doesn t mention that he has done anything particularly interesting; he has travelled extensively and likes some sports and games. Unless you can establish that he has done something personally notable, I stand by my vote.
:At any rate, the article may be a copyright violation, in which case none of the voting is relevant. 07:15, 12 Sep 2004 (UTC)
::You do not have no right to vote, you do not know what the topic is about, you do not know what is going on in these countries and you have never made any contribution to southeast asia, it is not my fault again that you have not taken a interest in this area of the world.
:::I have every right to vote. It doesn t work like that.
::Furthermore, Prince Jerry Remigius Kanagarajah is a member of Southeast Asia Imperial & Royal League a organization that seeks peace for their nations, Human Rights, and freedom.
::This may not be important to you, you also give one view point too, you try to degrade Prince Jerry Remigius Kanagarajah becuase he plays sports does other European Royalty plays sports too Why is he any less
:::I didn t say it reflected poorly on him, I said it didn t make him notable. There s a difference. He s probably a great guy, but being a great guy does not qualify you for a bio in Wikipedia.
::He has been very vocal expressing his beliefs for a peaceful nation in Sri Lanka that has been at war for OVER 30 YEARS ! Did you know that
:::What has he done to bring about a peaceful settlement
::Well, also since he is a member of the Southeast Asia Imperial & Royal League there is authorization to establish his biography as a member of this prestigious organization that is a pivotal front for freedom in their homeland that has been filled with war and human rights violations in their nation
::In Conclusion if you felt that it was copyright why did you bother to vote your qualifications and your decision process does not hold any weight.
:::Because I m not sure it s a copyvio.
::As I expressed to you before, if you are interested, please feel free to email anytime I would have been more then welcome to talk to you about it, and spread the knowlegde that has bestowed on me by these fine gentlemen of the world, but I ONLY ASK FOR FAIRNESS 5:36, Sep 12, 2004 (UTC)
:::I ve cast my vote. You can cast yours. That s how it works. Yelling at me isn t going to win you any favors, buddy. 18:11, 12 Sep 2004 (UTC)
But you state he is a NON-Notable, Where did you do you research
Please see links and re-evaluate than you.
Here are the two links[http://www.google.com/searchhl=en&ie=UTF-8&q=%22Jerry+Remigius+Kanagarajah%22&btnG=Google+Search][http://www.google.com/searchnum=50&hl=en&lr=&ie=UTF-8&q=%22Jerry+Remegius+Kanagarajah%22&btnG=Search]. 5:36, Sep 12, 2004
:The first link leads to two sites other than Wikipedia: the one I was talking about, and one that is simply a genealogical chart. I never cast doubt on his lineage, so that doesn t prove much. The second leads to one site, a BBC commentary page he posted on, which only proves he knows how to use email. 01:13, 14 Sep 2004 (UTC)

The CSD guidelines say little or no context. Given that the author couldn t even be bothered to make a complete sentence out of it, I wasn t going to take on the burden of turning his mess into a real article. You re a new sysop, so this may not be known, but protecting is completely improper. If you have a dispute with this user, take it to Village Pump or elsewhere, but leave their user pages alone.
:I discussed this with Gwalla on IRC before it was done. It was decided that the page would be locked so that the notice would remain, however, there would be a subpage which he could respond. I felt (and I think the feeling was mutural) that if the page was not locked, he would likely blank it and continue as he had before. (Since he seemed to disregard the previous warnings). I feel that while the formatting of the notice wasn t what I would of done, the execution was apropriate. -- 20:30, 28 Oct 2004 (UTC)
:I m sorry if what I did was improper. I went on IRC #en.wikipedia to find out what should be done about that user, and this is where the discussion led: leave a message on his talkpage, protect it, and provide a subpage for a response. I know now that this isn t considered an acceptable approach. 02:21, 29 Oct 2004 (UTC)

: I would like to point out that the were my subpages that I marked for deletion. Ta bu moved them to his space, and deleted the redirects rather than honor my request - something that was not appropriate. He has since created his own archives, which is fine. -- 07:05, 2004 Nov 12 (UTC)

Hi, Gwalla. I ve enjoyed using the infobox for languages, and assume it s your design: so, thanks! Would it be possible to insert a parameter for text colour as some of the background colours don t work well with black text I realise that every article with the infobox would have to be modified, but I can t see an easier way of allowing it. I might have a go at altering the template (very carefully). Let me know what you think. 00:10, 3 Jan 2005 (UTC)

Hi Gwalla, thanks for supporting my prowrestling-stub idea and your kind words about my contribs. If you find a better picture for the stub template, feel free to change it; I just couldn t come up with a better one. It might be tricky to find a picture of two wrestlers in a tie-up, say, that would be high enough quality to be recognizable in such a small space, but I agree that it would be more representative than just Rock s headshot. -- 23:31, Feb 20, 2005 (UTC)

Looking back over this and seeing mostly support, I made a specific proposal in . Seeing no comments after several days, I went ahead and put it in.
Existing policy does cover this in principle, but the problem is that people that want to put in articles about a great new video game that s just about to be released, or articles about elements that are yet to be discovered, assert that they are not speculative or unverifiable. I wanted to enumerate some specific kinds of articles that we get fairly frequently and clarify that these are to be considered prima facie inappropriate.

= Extended template syntax (proposal and prototype) =
Hallo Gwalla,
I liked you suggestions for an extended syntax, and have made a more formal proposal, and have supplied a working prototype. On my test MediaWiki it works really nice. Thanks for your work to gather the ideas for the proposal together. Made the thinking process easier afterwards.

:Looks good. I have to say, I prefer my syntax because it looks less programming-language-y (no endloop and stuff like that), but hey, whatever works. 06:39, 13 Mar 2005 (UTC)
::Yes, you are right, in some respects your much shorter writing styles are nicer. However, there are many cases where the longer begin-end sequences helps one to handle larger blocks of text/formatting structures. I did consider to build also a prototype of such short-hand sequences. But completing the code was already a lot of work, and first some feedback is/was required. Which does not look like anyone else likes the idea until now :(. Reference bugzilla link. Will return next week to see if the mood has changed. --brian

True. Just examine the [http://www.wwe.com/help/terms.jsp WWE s Terms]. Home use only. Quite a shame, though. The images really do capture the articles they are placed in. That is a beautiful drop kick by Edge... I think if we abide by the I saw nothing saying, hopefully, they will stay for a while longer..
