Intentia is a Software company which was founded in 1984 and serves over 3,000 customer sites in some 40 countries around the world. It provides applications such as customer relationship management, supply chain management and asset management. Intentia is a public company traded on the Stockholm Stock Exchange (XSSE) under the symbol INT B.

Intentia was founded in 1984 by Bjorn Algkvist, Mikael Ageras, Göran Felldin and Rune Groppfelt. In 1991 Intentia bought Entra Data and then proceeded to redevelop the flagship product known as Movex. In 2005 a merger was proposed between Lawson Software and Intentia.
