Iron Realms Entertainment (formerly known as Achaea limited liability company) is a computer game developer company that has created the MUDs Achaea (MUD), AetoliaMud, Imperian, the Sundered Heavens, and Lusternia, Age of Ascension. Iron Realms Entertainment is known for three things:

1. Pioneering the pay-for-virtual-items trend in MMOGs back in 1997.

2. Heavy player-based political systems in its games.

3. Complex combat systems in its games.

Each game gives users the option of buying credits, which can be used to expedite the learning of skills, used as a special currency, and even be sold for in-game gold.
