JAL (compiler)

JAL is a Pascal programming language-like programming language and a Compiler that generates executable code for PIC microcontrollers. The compiler runs on Linux, Mac OS X, and MS-Windows. JAL stands for Just Another Language .

It was originally created by Wouter van Ooijen, but was released as free software under the GNU General Public License in 2003. Wouter van Ooijen has also contributed several other useful tools and tutorials for the PIC community.
