Kent Beck is one of the three creators of the agile process Extreme Programming and is the Author of several books on Extreme Programming, patterns and Smalltalk. Beck introduced design pattern (computer science)s and CRC cards to software engineering with Ward Cunningham and created the JUnit unit testing framework along with Erich Gamma. Beck has an M.S. in computer science from the University of Oregon.
