MC DP is summoned when two children - Corey (played by Jimmy Todd) and Jenny (played by Maria Allen) - agree to copy a floppy diskette containing a computer game. MC DP scolds them and introduces them to the posse responsible for creating games - artists, Writers, designers, and programmers. He also introduces the staff responsible for design of an early version of the game Neverwinter Nights and allows them to explain the issue in greater detail.
Through repetition of the phrase Don t Copy That Floppy , references to computer games that were popular at the time, and a glimpse of the End of the Computer Age (where the computer world is bleak and dark and the program falls through a black hole in space ) MC DP reinforces the message that software piracy will cause the computer and video game industry to lose profit, resulting in halted production of further computer games.
At the end of the video MC DP fades away, leaving the children to decide for themselves whether they will copy the floppy. They decide against it. Corey, who has some money left over from his summer job, decides that he will buy the game. Jenny agrees and notes that Corey s game will come with a manual.
