In its first three months, the channel continued to show imported programmes which had been telecast while the Channel was run by SPH Mediaworks as well as screening other imported programmes, resulting in the channel having no locally-produced content except for the two news bulletins. Locally-produced programmes began airing from April 2005 onwards, which included a revamp of the news bulletins, the addition of 5 current affairs programmes, and 4 variety programmes.Broadcasting hours:Mon-Fri 3PM Sat-Sun 10AM.Channel U aims for busy Singaporeans aged 15-45
