Olitext

Olitext is a library for the Java programming language designed to support writing interactive fiction. Unlike many other interactive fiction authoring tools Olitext is not a new language but instead builds upon an existing language. Olitext was created by and is maintained by Jacek Olszak. Olitext is licensed under the General Public License. Olszak plans to change the license to the Apache License.

Olitext was started October 10, 2003. The first public release was version 1.61 on January 8, 2004. The initial design did not satisfy Olsczak, so a new version (2.0) was started from scratch on June 15, 2005. Olscazk plans to have a stable release in October of 2005.

Olscazk is not aware of any complete games developed using the Olitext system.
