OpenNTPD

OpenNTPD is a Unix system Daemon (computer software) that uses the Network Time Protocol to synchronise clocks of computer systems with a reliable and accurate time source.

OpenNTPD is developed as part of the OpenBSD project by Henning Brauer. Its design goals include creating a daemon that is secure (Exploit (computer security)), easy to configure and to have source code that can be distributed under a BSD license. It s portable version, like that of OpenSSH is developed as a child project, which adds the portability code to the OpenBSD version of the daemon in order to allow it to function on many platforms. This portable version is developed by Darren Tucker.
