Autumn Moon Entertainment

Autumn Moon Entertainment is a video game developer with a specific interest in the Adventure game of computer games. The company was founded by Mike Kirchoff in 2002, a former LucasArts employee— a heritage he shares with the majority of staff at Autumn Moon, notable for having their hands in the development process of many of LucasArts adventure games.

As of 2005, Autumn Moon Entertainment has yet to release a commercial product although development has started on their first adventure game; A Vampyre Story . The game is to be set in Europe around the 1880s and follows a young female opera singer turned vampire as she attempts to make the journey to Paris to become famous. A Vampyre Story is due to be released on Halloween of 2006.

A Vampyre Story holds the hopes of many adventure gamers to be a nostalgic trip back to the classics that initiated their love for these games that are centred around narrative, puzzles and a good dose of humour. With Mike Kirchoff and his team of experienced staff behind the reigns there is a chance for Autumn Moon to put a dent in the view held by many that adventure games as a profitable medium are dead [http://screen7.adventuredevelopers.com/agdzine/rants_adventuredead.htm].
