Recovery Is Possible

Recovery Is Possible (RIP) is a small, specialized Linux distribution, commonly known as a business card distro, that includes a large number of tools to assist in recovering data from Microsoft Windows and Linux x86 based systems. The tools attempt recovery from a number of filesystems including File Allocation Table, NTFS, Ext2 and ReiserFS. Utilities to resize and image-copy disk partitions are included.

The current version of RIP is 14.7 (October 10, 2005).
