Rowan Software was a United Kingdom computer game developer founded by Rod Hyde in 1987, in Runcorn, Cheshire, from H&H Software. Several members of Rowan s staff went on to form Digital Image Design.
Rowan developed Strike Force Harrier , Flying Corps , Flight of the Intruder and other flight simulators. It ported F-16 Fighting Falcon (game) to the Atari ST and Commodore Amiga for Spectrum Holobyte.
Rowan became part of Empire Interactive and then became Strangelite.
