Sumo Digital Ltd. is a UK based software development company which was established in 2002.
The company was formed by Carl Cavers, Paul Porter, Darren Mills and James North-Hearn, who were the management team at Infogrames Sheffield House. The Infogrames Sheffield Studio itself was originally Gremlin Interactive (prior to Infogrames buying the company from Ian Stewart).
Most of the current employees are ex-Gremlin/Infogrames Sheffield House veterans, though they have also been joined by a number of ex-Argonaut Sheffield staff (which itself was previously Particle Systems).
