TECHWR-L

TECHWR-L (usually pronounced tech whirl ) is one of the oldest and the largest communities of Technical writers in the world. It is an E-mail discussion list with over five thousand subscribers and an estimated 10,000 readers world-wide.

The list was conceived and set up in 1993 by Eric J. Ray, who was then the only technical writer at the University of Oklahoma. It has been a self-supporting enterprise for the last few years.
