TKO Software

TKO Software is a Computer and video games development company founded in 2002 in Santa Cruz, California, United States by Jacob Hawley and Michael Songy.

The company was known, at one time, to be working on a PC/console version of forthcoming Matthew McConaughey movie Sahara (2005 movie) , and a video game version of classic sci-fi movie Logan s Run.

In January of 2005 TKO Software shut down its personal computer and console games development studio, located in Santa Cruz, leading to the loss of around 60 jobs. Jacob Hawley was terminated shortly after this lay-off. TKO s mobile phone and handheld game console divisions, located in Texas and Dublin, were unaffected. In August of 2005 the remaining TKO Software offices were also shut down.
