TV IV

The TV IV ([http://tviv.org tviv.org]) is a website devoted to informational guides for television shows and the people involved in their production. As it is a wiki, it is entirely dependent on user contributions. The TV IV runs the MediaWiki software, but has disabled anonymous editing and has licensed the content under the Creative Commons License. It was started by people from the Something Awful Something Awful Forums, who were unhappy with what TV Tome turned into after its acquisition by CNET.

TV Friends is another similar initiative, but it has (at the time of writing) a much smaller database.
