A former model, he has a mixed reputation in the local entertainment industry. Starting off strongly early in his acting career with a Star Awards win in the Best Supporting Actor category in 1999 for his role in Stepping Out , and earning enough public votes for a win in the Top 10 most popular male artist awards in 2000 and 2001.
