The MathWorks

The MathWorks is a company which specializes in technical computing computer software, including MATLAB, Simulink and Stateflow. The company was founded by John N. Little (still the president), Cleve Moler (still the Chief Scientist), and Steve Bangert (now inactive) in 1984 and is privately held. The headquarters is in Natick, Massachusetts and the company now has about one thousand employees. It is a regular sponsor of Public Broadcasting Service and National Public Radio.

Employees of the MathWorks refer to themselves as MathWorkers.
