WeBWorK is a web based homework system , which permits teachers and educators to publish homework problems electronically on the web. It is an open-source project originally developed by University of Rochester, and is made available under a license that permits free use by educational, research and non-profit purposes[http://math.webwork.rochester.edu/docs/docs/install/readme.first.html].

WeBWorK is currently being used by many universities[http://webhost.math.rochester.edu/webworkdocs/sites/courses/links_to_courses] and high-schools[http://webhost.math.rochester.edu/webworkdocs/sites/high_schools] around the world.
