Votes for deletion-- 21:58, 21 Jun 2005 (UTC) : Nope. The question is referring to an article that was a red link at the time part of something that is placed on many talk pages. If that means any clarity to the question... -- 05:44, 22 Jun 2005 (UTC) ::It must be a collaboration of the week!! but which one....-- 00:13, 24 Jun 2005 (UTC) ::I am guessing 00:16, 24 Jun 2005 (UTC) ::: Close, but no. -- 03:50, 24 Jun 2005 (UTC) Does it have something to do with Russia-- 02:35, 25 Jun 2005 (UTC) : No, it does not. Zxcvbnm, I appreciate your enthusiasm, but can you try to make more educated, well informed guesses and questions -- 13:02, 25 Jun 2005 (UTC) 00:33, 26 Jun 2005 (UTC) : The history actually refers to the history function on the Wikipedia of that page where the article was displayed as a red link. -- 07:28, 26 Jun 2005 (UTC)
= The weather in London =
One presumably quite frequently visited page is How to edit a page, featuring the (only) red link The weather in London. From its what links here and talk pages one clearly sees that this page is used as the example of a red link . The current archives of wikimedia are somehow confused about its history in January 2002 (the earlier edit jumps from Jan. 14 to Jan. 26). (Before, the page was called How does one edit a page.) I suppose that older edits are no more available through the history function.
As the link was already present in the earliest record available (December 2001), it had to be created in January 2001, and on ). As the link is supposed to have been created one day after a special event, this was most probably on 4 July 2005 23:39 (UTC)
PS: The wayback machine shows that [http://web.archive.org/web/20011011081524/www.wikipedia.com/wiki.cgiaction=browse&diff=1&id=How_does_one_edit_a_page in October 2001] the link was not yet there, and [http://web.archive.org/web/20011111081524/www.wikipedia.com/wiki.cgiaction=browse&diff=1&id=How_does_one_edit_a_page in November 2001] the link was created as The weather in Minnesota ... unfortunately, [http://web.archive.org/web/20011218100349/http://www.wikipedia.com/wiki.cgiaction=browse&diff=1&id=How_does_one_edit_a_page in December 2001] the London link is already there, which would invalidate my guess... — 4 July 2005 23:39 (UTC)
PPS: after posting my reply, I read the above disclaimer of the question s author (...history refers to the history link of that page...) and as the history of that page has some bug around January 14, 2002, my guess might still be the intended answer... 4 July 2005 23:47 (UTC)
: I indicated it was a red link, meaning that is no longer a red link. -- 6 July 2005 02:19 (UTC)
