Xanadux is a project to port Linux to the HTC Wallaby (a.k.a. XDA / MDA / SX-56, Qtek 1010, ...). As we learn more we also hope to port to the HTC Himalaya (a.k.a. XDA II / MDA II / Qtek 2020 / ...).

Project goal is to produce a working and usable Linux on the device.

HTC phones are much more closed to developers than any other PDA platform that currently runs Linux.
